In collaboration with Fineart Oslo, Norway’s largest art gallery, we have dedicated a suite to contemporary art. The Fineart Suite will continuously feature works from the gallery’s artists, offering you the chance to live with art rather than just visit it. Staying here lets you notice new details in the works every day, allowing for a personal encounter with contemporary art beyond a standard gallery visit.
Morten Qvale
Currently on display are photographs by renowned Norwegian photographer Morten Qvale. Known for his fashion and fine art photography, his images explore landscape, form, and presence, and have been exhibited in Oslo, Monaco, New York, and Sweden.
In the suite, Qvale’s photographs take you on a journey across Norway—from the Barcode district and the Royal Palace in Oslo, the tranquil ocean of Risør to the midnight sun and dramatic mountains of Lofoten. His art book is placed in the room for a deeper look at his work through the decades.
The colors and contrasts of his works blend beautifully with the warm tones of the suite, creating a space where art and interior belong together.
