How do I get to the hotel?
We recommend taking the Airport Express Train (Flytoget) for the most efficient route from Gardermoen. The train takes 25 minutes from Gardermoen to Nationaltheatret Station, which is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel.
A taxi takes 40–60 minutes depending on traffic. We recommend pre-booking a taxi to secure a lower price. Check OsloTaxi’s rates here.
If you’re arriving by car, Nationaltheatret Parking Garage and Konserthuset Parking Garage are just a few minutes away.

Do you have parking?
Unfortunately, we do not have parking at the hotel, but there are two parking garages nearby.

Nationaltheatret P-hus is located at Munkedamsveien 3B, open from 06:00–00:00. Price per 24 hours: NOK 640.

Konserthuset P-hus is at Munkedamsveien 20, open 24/7, offering both indoor and outdoor parking, as well as charging stations. Price per 24 hours: NOK 710.


BREAKFAST

 

Is breakfast included?
Yes, breakfast is always included when you book a room with us.

Where is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor, in the same space as Restaurant Teatro.

What are the breakfast hours?
Monday – Friday: 06:30 – 10:00
Saturday – Sunday: 07:30 – 11:00

Can I get breakfast in bed?
Yes, breakfast can be ordered via room service. Please contact reception by 21:00 the day before to order. There is a room service fee of NOK 95.

I’m leaving early and won’t make breakfast, can I take it to go?
Yes! We offer an Early Bird breakfast package, which must be ordered by 21:00 the evening before. Please contact the reception.

Can non-guests have breakfast at the hotel?
Yes, walk-ins are welcome subject to availability. Price: NOK 265. For groups larger than five, please contact our breakfast manager:

Yes, we only offer breakfast as a buffet.

HOTEL STAY

 

What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in: from 15:00
Check-out: by 11:00
Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged subject to availability. Contact reception.

Is the hotel open 24/7?
Yes, we are open 24/7.

Do you have room service?
Yes, we have room service. Call: +47 21 50 72 20. Room service fees start at NOK 95. Orders must be placed during Restaurant Teatro’s opening hours: 16:00 – 22:00.

Can I bring my dog to the hotel?
Yes, we are a dog-friendly hotel. We have a designated floor for pets: 3rd floor. Pet fee: NOK 300 pr night. Dogs are not allowed in the breakfast area, except for service or assistance dogs.

Do you have a gym?
The hotel does not have a gym, but guests receive free access to EVO Vika fitness center. Contact reception for a voucher.

Does the hotel have elevators?
Yes, the hotel has an elevator up to the 6th floor. Access to guest rooms on the 7th floor is via stairs.

I have special needs, can you accommodate them?
Yes, please inform reception in advance so we can do our best to accommodate your needs. We have accessible guest rooms suitable for wheelchair users. Your booking number will be required. Contact: stay@christianiateater.com

How old do I have to be to stay at the hotel?
By Norwegian law, all guests must be over 18 to stay alone. Guests under 18 must stay with a parent or guardian. Valid ID is required at check-in.

Do you have laundry service?
Yes, we offer laundry and dry-cleaning services. Please see the information provided in your room. Drop off laundry by 08:30 on weekdays for same-day return. Laundry service is closed on weekends and public holidays.

Can I store my luggage?
We offer luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. For long-term storage, please contact reception for pricing. All luggage storage is at the guest’s own risk.

I forgot something at the hotel, what should I do?
Contact reception. Lost items can be sent via DHL Express at an additional cost.

I’d like to surprise my partner with champagne and flowers, can you help?
Of course. Your booking number is required. Options:

Champagne (75 cl): NOK 990

Prosecco (75 cl): NOK 590

Flowers: must be booked and paid at least 48 hours in advance

Do rooms have amenities?
As a Swan-labeled hotel, we minimize single-use items. Amenities available upon request: slippers, dental kit, sewing kit, and shaving kit.

Can we have an extra bed in the room?
Extra beds are only available in Deluxe rooms, Junior Suites, and Suites with sofa beds. Contact reception in advance.

Do you have family rooms?
Some Superior rooms are interconnected. Deluxe rooms, Junior Suites, and Suites with sofa beds can accommodate up to 4 people. Contact reception for assistance.

Do rooms have twin rooms?
We do not have twin rooms. All rooms have double beds with double duvets. Single duvets can be arranged on request.

Do rooms have bathtubs?
Only certain suites have bathtubs. Contact reception for availability.

Are rooms non-smoking?
Yes, the entire hotel is non-smoking.

Do you have accessible rooms?
Yes, accessible rooms are available. Please inform reception in advance.

Fire safety
The hotel has a high level of fire safety with modern systems in both guest rooms and public areas. The building is well equipped with fire compartments, sprinkler systems, and clear safety procedures, ensuring you can feel safe throughout your stay.
