Home of the Nobel Peace Center, Oslo, or Christiania as the town previously was called, invites you to a vacation of pure magic. This is the city where everything is and where anything is possible. Come to enjoy a summer festival or get historical at Stortinget and the castle. And don’t miss the classical ski arena Holmenkollen, the amusement park TusenFryd and most importantly meet the Oslo fjord at Aker Brygge, known for its boardwalk and al fresco wining and dining. Relax and enjoy the outdoor restaurants and bars or get lost in the vibrant atmosphere of Grunerløkka.

Best time to visit

March to September – for winter lovers: from October to February. Oslo enjoys a pleasantly warm to mild summer and cold winter. Although temperature invites people to visit the city in summer, bear the lower level of sunshine in June with five hours per day. July to August is better with 8 hours.
